View settings
The View settings menu lets you tailor the workspace to the text you’re working on and to your own comfort. Changes apply immediately.
What you can adjust
Section titled “What you can adjust”- Line numbers — show or hide line numbers down the side of the editor.
- Cell labels — show or hide each cell’s label (for example its canonical
reference like
GEN 1:1). - Source text direction and Target text direction — set left-to-right or right-to-left independently for the source and target sides. This is essential when your source and target languages run in different directions (Aquilla even nudges you here when it detects a right-to-left language).
Where your settings live
Section titled “Where your settings live”View settings are stored per account, in your browser (local storage). That means:
- they take effect instantly and stay put on this device, but
- they don’t sync to other computers — set them once per device, and
- they’re independent of the project, so they follow you, not the text.
